This publication is the outcome of an extensive visual research into isolated shapes. It presents a curated selection of drawings originally created with black marker on index cards, depicting an archive of graphic shapes reminiscent of brand logos. Logos are forms confined within a corporate context, shapes with a defined singular purpose. This project aims to liberate these shapes from their conventional context, transitioning them from the space of applied design to the realm of fine arts. The book was first presented in May of 2023 along with an exhibition of the originals at Social Harmony in Ghent. Each of the pages has a manually cut tab.
