Africa Calling

In this powerful manifesto, Jean-Pierre Bekolo calls for a revolution of consciousness, urging Africa and its diaspora to break free from manipulative narratives that cast the continent as either a victim or a resource to be exploited. Bekolo reframes Africa's strategic resources-coltan, cobalt, uranium-not as curses but as sources of power. He envisions a pan-African platform merging culture, economy, and collective intelligence to reclaim autonomy. Critiquing Africa-Europe relations, he denounces the failures of the Afro-European project, shaped by unbridled liberalism and structural racism. In contrast, he proposes a model based on hybridity, cultural mixing, and "mantism"-a universal ecological consciousness inspired by Africa.
