All Or Nothing at All

For the exhibition in Viborg Kunsthal, the artists will be based on Frank Sinatra's hit 'All Or Nothing At All'. The song is about control and the fear of losing it - of having it all or being alone. It was Sinatra's first hit (1939) and by combining white and black music with his golden voice, he enchanted millions. Originally sung from a completely male point of view, the song will now be transformed into an alternative, rebellious version from a female point of view. For this project, the artists will collaborate with The Animation Workshop in Viborg to create a virtual game-like landscape of Viborg as an endless, empty city with a maze-like setting. The exhibition space will be transformed into an arena, where the middle of the ground floor can only be accessed via the first floor. Here you will experience a wealth of corridors, hiding places, dark corners, old buildings and contemporary buildings, marketplaces and parking lots and magnificent views of an adventurous lake.
