The medieval bestiary, or 'book of beasts' was a compendium of beasts and used the images as an allegorical teaching and a description of the world as it was known. Through Dominique Lauge's photographic shots, this title creates a contemporary bestiary that revives shocking, almost unreal, and fantastic atmosphere of the old bestiaries. During his career the author received many prizes amongst which the Priz Mediastore for the IULM campaign (2005), the Kodak European Gold Award for Portrait Photography (1995 - 1996).
