4to. Printed in an edition of 310 copies, of which 245 on laid paper. The cover, title page and chapter numbers printed in red. The illustrations consist of a wood engraved title, a title vignette, 28 plates engraved in wood and 28 7-line initial letters designed and engraved by Louis Jou, as well as a colophon in a decorative engraved border, and a printer’s mark.
The text is the translation of Le Maistre de Sacy of St. Matthew’s Gospel.
