GRINDHOUSE VISIONS 2

In the same way that Italian post-war film poster art set new standards of innovation, so the Italian lobby card, or fotobusta, would also become renowned for pushing the boundaries of promotional design. Classic Italian lobby cards from the unfettered cult movie zone combine transgressive image collages, vivid typography and kinetic graphics to convey forbidden thrills and terrors. GRINDHOUSE VISIONS 2 reproduces 140 striking Italian lobby cards created to promote cult movies over three decades, with a particular focus on the horror and giallo/slasher genres. All lobby cards are shown in full color. NEW REVISED¿AND¿EXPANDED¿EDITION.
