Original publisher's binding, green pictorial cloth, gilt flat spine, gilt edges. Illustrated with numerous black & white illustrations in text (some full-page) and 16 full-page colour plates. Some light edgewear to covers and spine, binding a bit loose, some pages in the middle loosening. Apart from a few spots, very well preserved inside.
