SeARCH

This book presents 14 projects from the Dutch architecture office SeARCH. Since its establishment in 2002, SeARCH has completed several projects, including the Dutch embassy in Addis Ababa, a Tea Pavilion for the Dutch Nature Conservatory and several VINEX developments. Projects are considered as landscape studies, where landscape is defined as the most essential element connecting architecture and urban planning. The book takes a critical look at the current situation in the Netherlands with regard to the building of large-scale housing projects in a steadily growing and concentrated urban environment.
