Voices from D-Day

Compiled from contemporary letters and diaries, Voices From D-Day features stunningly evocative first-hand accounts of the Normandy landings, from both sides of the battle. Here you will find the voices of the great military planners, Churchill, Paton and Eisenhower, alongside tales from the ordinary soldier under intense fire, the French people watching the invasion and the German soldiers, facing the unexpected enormity of Operation Overlord.
