First edition. Small oblong artist's book. Enos's gar·baj presents a sequence of colour photographs of discarded and decaying food at Boston's Haymarket, photographed with SX-70 Polaroid film. The close-up images transform refuse into striking studies of colour, texture and organic decay. Published by the influential Visual Studies Workshop Press, an important centre for experimental photography and artists' books in the United States.
