Sol LeWitt

Sol LeWitt (1928-2007) was a pioneer of Conceptual art; he came to fame in the late 1960s with his wall drawings and “structures“. The exhibition catalogue presents the two Wall Drawings for Haus Konstruktiv: On a scale of around 7 m high by 20 m wide, these were produced in Zurich over the course of seven weeks in fall 2004. From the working drawing to the most important phases of the execution up to completion, all the steps are presented in the photographic documentation.
