Boek 7 uit de serie Schmuck
Omschrijving
Mexican artists Martha Hellion and Felipe Ehrenberg moved to England in the wake of the 1968 student movement in Mexico. With the help of David Mayor they eventually founded Beau Geste Press on a farm in Devon. There, they published eight issues of Schmuck between 1972 and 1978 in editions of around 500. They also published numerous artists' books by Ehrenberg and others at the press. The goal of the magazine, and the Beau Geste Press, was to foster international relationships between artists; with Schmuck they dedicated special issues to art from various countries: France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Czechoslovakia, and Iceland.
This is the seventh and penultimate issue of Schmuck, edited by Dietrich Albrecht, Hansjurgen Bulkowski, Klaus Groh, Tibor Gayor, Dora Maurer and David Mayor. Cover by Genesis P-Orridge, with back pocket holding a book by Klaus Groh. Contributions by Albrecht D., Gabor Altorjay, Wolfgang Feelisch, Ludwig Gosewitz, Dorothy Iannone, Milan Kunz, Thomas Niggl, Jan Voss, Wolf Vostell et al.
